Our action packed local history school offer is suitable for classes ranging from Early Years to Key Stage 5! We are currently testing our workshops, activities and story-time sessions in local schools and colleges: watch this space for the launch of our school visits offer in early 2025.

The workshops and activities at the history centre will involve hands on access to our collections, walking adventures, dramatic role play and behind the scenes tours, alongside a loan box and outreach offer which is in development for Spring 2025. Curriculum topics range from the Industrial Revolution to puppetry, from Crime and Punishment to high street chronology: watch this space!
