Stafford in Verse: Poetry Workshop
This writing workshop will combine the examination of historical Staffordshire with poetic exercises and inspiration in order to uncover and reimagine the individuals that made up this county’s story.
The workshop will be led by poet Scarlett Ward and supported by museum engagement specialist Sarah English.
Participants will step into the past with a guided tour of the artefacts and objects on display from various points of history, and then will be invited to pen poetic responses that revisit bygone eras, and consider how this perspective helps us re-evaluate modern life today.
Free to attend.
