- Administrative History: The civil parish was formed in 1866 from the township of Streethay in the ancient chapelry of Lichfield St Michael. The parish council was established in 1894, and was abolished in 1983, when it was amalgamated with Alrewas Parish Council to form Alrewas with Streethay Parish Council (in 2004 it was called Alrewas & Fradley with Streethay Parish Council - see separate catalogue). Alrewas then separated 1 April 2009, and this parish council was re-formed as Fradley and Streethay Parish Council. It is due to be split again into two separate councils in April/May 2023.
