- Format: Local Authorities
- Description: This collection of records includes council minute books, 1920-1974 [lacking 1928-1938] and minutes of committee meetings for various dates. There are only a limited number of Treasurer's and Medical Officer's of Health records. The strength of the collection is the section of Public Health Inspector's (Sanitary Inspector's) records. These include a number of series of inspector's journals, 1907-1967. The Public Health Inspector and Surveyor appear to have worked in one department, so there is also a small series of surveyor's correspondence, 1945-1947, included in this section, and building control plans.
