- Administrative History: Seisdon Rural Sanitary Authority was created under the Public Health Act, 1872. It had jurisdiction over the following parishes: Bobbington; Codsall; Enville; Himley; Kinver; Pattingham; Lower Penn; Upper Penn; Swindon; Trysull and Seisdon; Wombourne; Woodford Grange; and Wrottesley. It was administered by the Board of Guardians of the Poor. In 1894, Seisdon Rural Sanitary Authority was abolished and renamed Seisdon Rural District Council, which was run by an elected authority.
