SUMMARY:Hand-press Printing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Lead by Dr Michael Durrant\, Lecturer in Book History at the Un
 iversity of London. As well as taking part in the workshop you'll have the
  opportunity to see rare books printed by local presses in Stoke-on-Trent.

 a series of events launching the 100 Bookshelf project\, which celebrates 
 100 years of writing in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. The 100 Bo
 okshelf houses a rare collection of books\, published 1925-2025\, from the
  City Archives’ Local Studies Collection. Look out for the Bookshelf as 
 it tours local libraries to bring inspiration to the next generation of lo
 cal authors.
